Summary

The Judiciary and Administration Centre on Mainzer Straße was the largest Public Private Partnership in the state of Hessen and the state capital, Wiesbaden at the time of construction.

The buildings are 200 metre long building along Mainzer Straße. Theyare connected by a greenway. The complex is home to the entire Wiesbaden Judiciary with the exception of the prison. Housing approximately 1200 staffs of the law courts and the city of Wiesbaden. The city of Wiesbaden and the state of Hessen have rented the building, worth ca. 125 million EUR, for 30 years.

After a very short planning and implementation phase of only 30 months, a modern and functional building complex was created, which has provided, since its opening in October 2009, a total rentable surface area of 65,300 m².

Scope

• A total of ca. 15,000 m2 facade, delivered and assembled, including
• Window elements with turn-tilt casements and fixed elements, in some cases with high level soundproofing
• Sun protection located outside, power-operated
• Post and crossbar constructions for entrance areas
• Lead sheeting
• Slat constructions
