Summary

81 metres high and 25 storeys, the Park-Tower right next to the railway station is definitely the highest building in the Canton of Zug, giving its residents a breath-taking view over the town, the lake and the mountains. Thanks to its multi-storey design, Park-Tower makes a valuable contribution to the scarcity of building plots by offering a generous amount of living accommodation on a small plot of land, following the credo of dense construction in town centres.

Architecturally, the project blends superbly into the existing townscape, thanks to its slim elegant and unfussy building forms combined with a carefully designed park landscape.

Each storey has a maximum surface area of ca. 550 m2 available, guaranteeing future owners a high degree of freedom in designing room spaces. A maximum of 40 % of the storey surface area can be used for service providers. The positioning of the important elements in the core and on the outside of the building enables customised apartments with individual surface areas. Buyers are free to decide the allocation of rooms and choice of materials.

Scope

• Triple heat/sun protection – security glazing as a highly insulated unitised facade
• Integrated EI90 railing to prevent fire flashovers from storey to storey
• Manual tilt-turn windows with spandrel glass
• Motorised RDA casement windows with spandrel glass
• Motorised, wind-stable Raff slat blinds, located on the outside and integrated into the element
• Extra soundproofing features according to SIA 181
• Insulated loggias inside made from wood or aluminium, connected to the outer facade
• Entrance area uses the post and crossbar system
• Automatic sliding doors and folding doors on the ground floor
• Emergency doors on the ground floor
